March has marked 1 year since our official relaunch from our previous OptOut Media Foundation to the Accountability Journalism Institute. Thank you for being along for this ride with us! 

While our focus shifted from independent news curation to independent investigative news production, our mission has remained the same: to make reliable, fearless reporting accessible to all. We decided to home in on the crisis of public health and science disinformation because we have observed its real impacts on the erosion of shared reality, communities’ wellbeing—and, thus, democracy as a whole.
